Perfectly Prorsum

I recently found myself in search of the perfect coat while prepping for the cold winter months and no one designs a better fitting coat than Burberry Prorsum.

The Fall 10 Collection showed strong trenches with aviator inspiration with utilitarian details and infinite options for styling. The collection was full of Fashion Frenzy surprises: Exaggerated collars, amazing thigh-high snake boots, buckled boots with sheep skin inside and razor sharp sophisticated tailoring. Extremely feminine yet masculine, rock but classic...full of fashion contradictions but ultimately chic.

A militarian color palette between khaki, white cream, purple and some bright colors like blue and yellow will be perfection for the somber winter days ahead. Burberry Prorsum F/W ‘10 is strong, sexy, chic and ready to be rocked!

VIVA Vuitton!

A riot of color!
A mesh of textures!
A sultry red lip!
A mysterious side swept bang!

The Chinese consumer or China itself was an evident inspiration in the Spring-Summer 2011 Women's Louis Vuitton collection shown in Paris. It was chinoiserie-flapper 50s-safari all rolled into a chaotic fashionable frenzy. Clashing colors seemed to play in harmony. Styles were sexy and modern, part Halston - part French Rivera - part traditional Chinese.

Layered tri-colour clutches in jewel tones were the perfect complimentary accessory to the rich and colorful collection.

Marc Jacobs has once again redefined the Vuitton Brand by presenting a highly thematic collection with tons of sex appeal.

Hail To Haider

It’s official, I love Haider Ackermann.

Last season, I was all about Rick Owen's who manages to impress me enough to pay full price for his design and contact Europe for items I can't get in the US. This season it is Haider Ackermann who left me Spiraling into a Fashion Frenzy as I viewed his Fall 10 collection.

The collars are draped to perfection, we’ve been seeing all kinds of draped collar this season (Helmut Lang, Gareth Pugh, Ohne Titel etc) but Haider Ackermann takes it up one notch by featuring billowing waves of leather wrapped around the neck which changes however the wearer wants it to look. Pure genius! My favorite part about the collection? The vests and jackets, hands down and if you know me then you know I LOVE a well fitted jacket. With removable peplums and endlessly malleable collars there are a delectable amount of ways to recreate each piece, which is great for a chameleon.
